HALEAKALA: How Maui Snared the Sun

During the time we were working on the Mythical, Mystical Sun exhibit, a musical score of this Hawaiian sun myth by a UT professor arrived on my desk to be catalogued. Since the composer and his wife (the author of the text) were acquaintances of mine, I asked for and received permission to display the score in the library exhibit, and to publish their retelling of the myth as part of the accompanying Web exhibit.
